Math Standards

The California Department of Education has outlined standards for each grade. It lists the math skills for grades K through seven. Then it lists grades eight through 12 according to the class (algebra I, linear algebra, etc.).

Choose your student’s grade or class from the pull-down menu to read the math standards for this year of school. Being aware of these standards will help you know more about what to expect from this year. It will also give you a gauge of the general abilities of children at each level.
