Science Standards

The California Department of Education has outlined standards for each grade. It lists the social studies topics grades K through eight. The standards for grades nine through 12 are listed according to the subject rather than the grade.

Choose your student’s grade or class from teh pull-down menu to read the science standards for this year of school. Being aware of these standards will help you know more about what to expect from this year. It will also give you a gauge of the general abilities of children at each level.
